Comprehensive Overview
Under Section 28 of the Factories Act, 1948, all overhead cranes (EOT), mobile hydraulic cranes, gantry cranes, and tower cranes used in manufacturing and construction plants must undergo mandatory annual inspection and proof load testing by a DISH-authorized Competent Person. Shri Jayam Associates conducts physical load testing, magnetic particle testing (MPT) on hooks and structural welds, wire rope diameter measurement, limit switch interlock checks, and issues official Form 8 Certificates of Examination.
