Comprehensive Overview
Poly Chlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) are persistent organic pollutants (POPs) originating from transformer dielectric fluids, petroleum spills, and incomplete combustion. Because they bioaccumulate and possess strong carcinogenic properties, strictly low limits are enforced. We perform GC-ECD and GC-MS testing for all 16 EPA priority PAH compounds and PCB congeners in water.
